Speed dialing allows you to dial your most frequent contacts by pressing only one or two digits. For example, you can set your phone such that it dials your mum when you press 1, and your boss when you press 0, and so on.
With speed dialing, you no longer need to remember long 11-digit numbers and make mistakes while dialing them.
