Embed VoIP Into Your Firefox Browser

Thursday June 8, 2006

While waiting for the tabbed version of Internet Explorer, I am currently using the Mozilla Firefox browser to surf the Internet, and I must say I like it. Why? Well, it’s a matter of taste if you are working under Windows XP; and a matter of compatibility if you are working under Linux. Anyhow, I know that millions of other Internet users share my taste on this.

If you are one of those, then you can now embed VoIP functionality into your Firefox browser. Abbeynet Labs have released a VoIP extension for Firefox, which will make of your machine a full-fledged VoIP client. Luca Filigheddu covers this in more details. He shows the features of the extension and also how to get it.
